Porsche are often reluctant to call their products as a supercar. Manufacturers from the German state is more comfortable with the term sports car or a sports car.
However, actually 30 years ago Porsche never created a phenomenal car
that should go into the corridors of world-class super car, the Porsche
959.
The moment took place in the 1980s, just when some of the Italian
manufacturer was enjoying the sweetness of the title as exotic supercar
maker. Porsche 959 development projects (or were originally called Gruppe B) began in 1981.
Some senior management of Porsche AG had the idea to create the latest generation of the Porsche 911.
